Delete your data
Last updated: September 26, 2026
Your game lives on your phone. If you never signed in, deleting it there deletes everything. If you signed in, for cloud backup or the global leaderboard, there's also a copy in the cloud, and Delete Account removes it.
Delete the game on your phone
Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Reset Game. This permanently deletes your found numbers, saved finds and their notes, locations, and statistics from the phone. Uninstalling the app does the same.
Want a copy first? Settings → Export Data saves a backup file you keep.
Delete your account and cloud data
Only needed if you signed in with Apple or Google.
- Open the app and go to Settings.
- In Backup and Sharing, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm.
What Delete Account removes
- Your cloud backup: found numbers, saved finds, and their locations
- Your leaderboard entry and display name
- Map pins you shared to the global map
- Your recent-finds events in the global feed
- Your favorites list
- Your notification settings and push notification tokens
- Your sign-in account
It happens immediately. The game on your phone isn't touched; use Reset Game as well if you want that gone too.
Deletion is permanent. Deleted data can't be recovered.
Can't open the app?
Email wes@plate.net from the address you signed in with (or tell us your display name) and we'll delete your account and cloud data within 7 days.
Just want off the leaderboard?
Turn off Share to Global Leaderboard in Settings. Your leaderboard entry and shared map pins are removed right away, and your cloud backup stays. Recent-finds events already in the feed expire on their own, 60 days after each find.
Purchases
If you bought Supporter, the purchase record is kept by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat, our purchase-checking service, as needed to honor and verify the purchase. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
Anonymous analytics
The app sends anonymous usage events to TelemetryDeck. They aren't tied to your account or to you, so there's nothing in them to find and delete.
